Confession

The Sacrament of Confession, also known as Reconciliation or Penance, is one of the great gifts of the Catholic faith. Through this sacrament, we encounter the mercy of Jesus Christ, receive forgiveness for our sins, and are strengthened to grow in holiness and virtue. Regular confession helps us examine our lives, deepen our relationship with God, and experience the peace that comes from a clean conscience. Assumption Grotto is pleased to offer Confession frequently, making this powerful sacrament readily available to all who seek God’s mercy and grace.

In order to make Confession most readily available, it is offered 30 minutes before every Mass, as well as on Saturday between 2:30 and 3:30PM. It is also available by request, and is frequently offered after Mass if a need presents itself, and as part of the celebrations on Holy Days, Solemnities, Feasts and parish events.
