Come to the 9:30 Sunday Morning Tridentine Mass in Latin with choir that includes the singing of Gregorian Chant (Note: not every 9:30 Holy Mass has the choir)

Assumption Grotto Reunion, Class of 1980 - September 18th, 1-5:00 p.m. in the gym. Join your fellow Panthers and Classmates for a get-together. We wel-come graduates from all years (kids are also welcome). Pizza and snacks will be served at about 2:30 p.m. Just bring whatever you would like to drink - alco-hol is permitted. $15 charge to help cover the cost of food, rental of the gym, security and alcohol permit Kids are free. Fr. Titus will be preaching a silent re-treat for men in Jackson, Michigan, July 30 to August 1. The theme will be the "Angels in the World Today". Cost is $100. Young men are also welcome. Please call the convent for more informa-tion. (313) 527-1739.

August 15th News: We need volunteers for our Feast Day, Sunday, Au-gust 15th, activities. If you have not yet been contacted by a captain for the many services during this day, please fill out a form and bring or mail it to the Shrine Gift Shop.

Also, you may donate religious articles or religious books to our Shrine resale activity. Please bring them to the Gift Shop.

The Chapel, located in the Convent, is open 9 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Monday-Saturday. 

We need more people to be Adorers.  If you can commit to one hour per week or be a sub when someone is absent, please call the Convent (527-1739) or Phyllis at the Rectory (372-0762)
